About Jane

An ideas person I turn copy round fast and am a punctilious sub and editor. My communications skills are first rate and this feeds into my interviewing ability. When working on human tragedy and human interest stories my aim is to allow the interviewee his or her voice. I am determined to get the story and will go the extra mile to ensure this happens. I can speak and write reasonable French.

  • Twice runner-up in the Vogue talent competition

PR

I’ve provided arts PR support for projects ranging from Mozart Now (2006 working with director Nicholas Cleobury) to work for Kent County Council (2006) and provided PR for The Sandwich Bookshop an independent retailer.

Broadcasting Experience

I frequently provide cultural commentary on BBC Radio Ulster”s Talkback and have contributed to their Evening Extra and Arts Extra programmes.

I co-presented a books programme Between the Covers on BBC Radio Kent.

CV

I have a degree in English from the University of Durham and have taught creative writing to adults for county councils and the WEA.
